Arrived this morning from FLO, a GEM45 (no encoders or guider but incudes iPolar).

Its manageable to carry out, especially if I take off the counterweight first.  The weight was the deciding factor over the obvious alternative which I think I'd struggle with.

Just need some time to workout how to control it before the next clear sky, oh plenty of time then.......

Bit of a bonanza day for me today.

First up some replacement backup batteries for my Skysensor 2000PC units, both of which have lost their settings. Hopefully these will fit and get me going.

Next up, this arrived, very nicely packaged (took a bit of wrestling to get it open 🤣). It’s a Vixen HAL130 with a GP adaptor from @callisto to take my GP-DX. Hope to start using this at some point soon. There’s an ADM Dual format Vixen/Losmandy adaptor on its way some time so I can use the LZOS on it.

Finally, an equally nice Feathertouch FTF2025BCR. This is for the FC76DC (although shown on the 100) so the original can go back on the FC100DC. I’ve got a More Blue fine focuser coming for the original Tak focuser on the FS60C, so will soon be setup with all three scopes with having to shift bits around 👍

Just couldn’t resist these, having been reminded of how much I enjoyed them. The Moon, Mars & Venus book is actually a really nice detailed little guide which I will definitely use. The Constellation book less so.
