A free replacement leg clamp knob from Berlebach. Bought the tripod years ago but they sent it to me for free!

Berlebach tripods aren’t cheap but you do get first class service from them when you need it. 👍🏻

Used the 50mm focuser spacer and a couple of fine tuning rings on the 1.25 diagonal.

Damping post focus on the Az5 and report tripod about 2 ish. seconds.

Hopefully first light soon to check focus and damping etc. But all in all looks great. Of course the AZ100 won't bat an eyelid when it's mounted on that. But on the AZ 5 for a quick bit of planets or lunar seem fine just about lift with 1 arthritic hand.

That is one nice looking watering can. A work of art. And finished in Tele Vue green to boot.

From the reflections it looks to be fully multi-coated, can you confirm? Would also love to know if it's internally flocked.

A mysterious silver-grey obelisk has landed in the rocky foothills of Ags-land...

The primitive cave-astronomers approach tentatively, brandishing clubs made of bone...

The bravest cavestronomer reaches forward and touches the smooth grey surface.

My god, it's full of telescopes!

I'd like to see my wife's face when she comes to use it and finds it flocked! 🤣

Couple of years ago when i first got into this hobby/addiction and being a bit of a Tal fan, I dreamed of owning a Tal UWA 24mm but to no avail. Well next best thing, found on ebay, all the way from Novosibirsk, this arrived yesterday. It’s a beast! and i’m quite happy :)

Bill Paolini reviewed them quite favourably a while back

My meteorite display case arrived about an hour ago. Thats a whole week earlier than expected. Its flat pack stuff, and weighs a good 10 Lbs (Inc packaging..cardboard box and Styrofoam).

It came from Netherlands.

Happy days.

It looks like this, but without the cars etc.
