So you have received the bare 2” prism without any of the necessary accessories ?

More info here.

https://www.365astronomy.com/lacerta-brewster-angle-herschel-wedge-with-48mm-prism-nd3.0-2-nosepiece-and-2-rotator-eyepiece-holder?search=wedge

The full wedge comes with a rotator with T2 thread on the top so you can fit any T2 eyepiece holder. You will also need an ND3 filter which screws into the bottom of the rotator housing.

Yes, the bare T2 prism was on sale so I ordered one together with an ND3 filter, but instead I received the 2" prism. Gonna have a look at some of the available adapters before I buy anything ;)

The rotator is very useful as you can fit a polarising filter to it. I use a ZWO T2 1.25” filter adaptor that holds a 1.25” continuum filter and fits in the base of the T2 eyepiece holder.

Mystery objects! I'm adding them to my Bresser 10" dob to give me push to... I tried star hopping with it but the views from my back garden are too restrictive really and I find myself getting out the little 130PS and its AZ-GTI for goto so I get to see things instead of just looking for things....

It's an I2C 14 bit rotary encoder. I ordered two - one for each axis. Been waiting weeks - on back order for ages....

Few items over the past few days from FLO, RVO and Amazon - some for fathers day. Cleaning fluid and cloth, Astronomik filter, Zwo asi462, reusable cable tie wraps another baader barlow to replace the one i previously passed on and a losmandy bar.

happy birthday to me... asi1600, 8 wheel filter, filters and EAF. woohoo.

need to see how folk have fitted eaf to c8 and 200p, then try to sort some sort of quick connect so can swap it between em.

plenty time to train now with short crappy nights before darkness starts proper again!

I see what you've done there with the counterweight bar and nuts! I have a probably eq2 ish counterweight bar where the male thread fits the female thread on the AZT6 - but if you screw it in all the way it interferes with the ALT clutch and if you don't the bar is too loose... was thinking of popping a nut on the threaded section as a spacer. Looks like you've built some sort of couple for a large counterweight bar?

Oh and nice tripod BTW 🙂

I also remembered I have adapter for Skywatcher Crawford (bought for the Esprit 80 pro), again, not tried.

yeh, i've fitted it to my 200p ok. and i've ordered the adapter from FLO for the C8. kit is comes with will to my 72ED. And I've bought some knurled M4 and M3 nuts from ebay - 2 M4s attach main EAF body, so that makes it easy to move between scopes. and the M3 knuled ones will replace the grub screws in on the axle grips so they too can be quickly popped on and off all in the field, etc.

For the 200p, I had to make up a few 3d printed parts but it's all working fine now.

And inside the box a little Bresser MC100 mak OTA. Bought off ABS on Sunday and delivered this morning. 👍🏻 Did upgrade the stock RDF to a SW 6x30 RACI and fitted a dielectric diagonal.

In like new condition and no wait for it to come back into stock at a dealer. One German dealer is quoting April 2022 availability. 🙀🙀🙀

Didn't you sell one of these not so long ago? if so, what made you get another, if you don't mind me asking?

I have to say, I have been tempted by this and it's bigger brother, even though I have a C5. ( In fact I nearly bought the one you sold, I think... )

Hi badhex, I already had a m10 threaded counterweight bar so got a m10-m12 adapter to mount it on the AZT6, but thread on the bar was a lot longer than in the adapter so caused a little movement. Placed the m12 nut over the m10 thread as a spacer to tighten. Mount works really well & now light as a feather with the new tripod. Tripod has brought the usual bad weather with it so not had chance to try it out yet, but expect it to be pretty sturdy 🤞

Is that a lacerta dual focus upgrade.  I put one on my 200p I should never have sold that really regret it.
