I have slimmed down to just one case of eyepieces since I last did this, and these are my pairs and the important singletons.......

Great collection! But why are the two cartons upside down?

Why is the Ultima the only one in its box Steve? Lovely looking collection!

Mark

Hi Mark,

Thanks.

The two empty pockets were recently vacated by a pair of 19mm Pans, which were not required after the departure of Andromeda.

I had two rectangular holes left after the big sell off / reshuffle and the 48mm Brandon and 24 Ultima in its box fitted perfectly, besides, the Ultima never gets used as I cannot get hold of another...

Hi Joe,

Thanks.

The 10.5mm on the left of the Carton 10.5 is an Orion Megavista, identical eyepiece just different livery.  Why Carton chose to print the text that way up, as opposed to Orion's version, I don't know.

I remember how nice that 9mm NLV was in the C9.25. They are a fine alternative for people who struggle with orthos. I was able to compare the 9mm NLV to a Circle T 9mm ortho - there's not a lot in it. The NLV is easier to use, but the ortho a little cleaner and brighter. In isolation you wouldn't notice a difference.

Well, tonight I was trying out the NLV 9 and 12, I thought the 12 would put a bit more color in the Great Red Spot with a brighter image but not sure it did. Also had the SLV 6 in the finderscope - I think I managed to pick out one band on the tiny disk!

Finally got round to this - repurposing a tin that was otherwise surplus to requirements in an older project. Sadly not as neat as i would have liked - i found the shadow foam a bit of a wrestle so will probably stick to pick and pluck next time...IMG_3161.jpeg.a70ad3e53b594dc32e374b0ff58b52ac.jpeg

You always liked your 10.5 XL Dave, nice to see one returning.

The 'of the moment' EP case, but I do have other EP stashed away presently.
But this is my 'in use' case.
Deciding what to put in the spaces marked ?
And which ones not 'of the moment' to assign to the Classifieds section...
