Um..... don't know if I should post this pic after seeing all the neat and tidy cases on here. 😥

....but I think mine's getting a bit full! Don't want to start another if I can avoid it.

The last straw was my new StellaLyra 2" 2x Barlow - it's huge!

It has been years since I last posted here. Been through dozens of eyepieces since then but the case remained the same. These days I have a need to keep things small and light, so here is the latest (last?) iteration.

Full set of BCOs and a Meade RGO

I'm posting my now complete eyepiece collection.

P1060294.thumb.JPG.9b24847daf1c51905f674875535bfa9b.JPG

I started with just the Baader Hyperion Zoom which I don't use much now, instead preferring the Explore Scientific fixed focal length eyepieces, partly for their wider field of view and partly because I think they give a sharper image. The top row are the ones I use most, not so much the 4.7mm which is only really useable in the refractor and not the Mak. I also have the Explore Scientific 3mm which maxes out the magnification of the refractor but can be awkward for eye positioning, and the Celestron 40mm Omni which maxes out exit pupil but has very long eye relief and so is also a bit awkward. In the lower middle section is the Baader Hyperion Zoom x2.25 Barlow which I use with the Binoviewer (kept in a separate case), the William Optics x1.6 Barlow that came with the Binoviewer, and two Baader Classic Orthos, 6mm and 10mm, which I plan to use for the planets when they return in the Autumn.

The case is now full and I really can't justify anything else! Honest!!

A very nice, functional and well organised set. I've had/have some of those very eyepieces... all good choices 👍

What make and model is the case out of interest....
Oh and never try and justify buying anything else, it never works 😉

It's a Max Case, purchased from The Case Shop (here).

There are lots of different sizes available, with and without foam inserts which are pre-cut into squares with a solid foam surround that matches the case. I have five of these case now for all of my astronomy gear, scopes, eyepieces and various bits and pieces, and I would definitely recommend them.

Here are my other cases:

something tells me you like Vixen products....

I do indeed Alan. I bought my first "proper" telescope back in the 1980's, it was a Vixen 4" achromatic refractor and ever since then I've been hooked. I think it's a combination of Japanese quality, excellent performance, product quirkiness and of course ravishingly good looks. There are many fine telescope manufacturers out there but only a Vixen scope could be described as being "sexy".🤣

I have some of the same for my eyepieces, binoviewers etc.... I bought mine from Amazon, so that other supplier is super useful, as they seem to have the whole range... many thanks for that 👍

I'm glad to see the LV/LVWs in there to complete the collection.  Very nice indeed.

Replaced my MaxVision 24mm SWA with a much better APM 24mm UFF for max FOV in 1.25" format. Unfortunately meant my Barlow had to go in sideways, and the pluck foam not looking too great these days!
