I love Tele-Vue stuff, so have purchased a used, from another site, Tv Gibraltar Mount with handle. Even though I have a similar mount from a different manufacturer.

New Berlebach Uni28 tripod with spreader. Put my Skytee2 mount on from Skywatcher steel legged tripod. Mainly for my larger scopes to use, so be the C8 SCT, 12” Skywatcher newt, or one of my ‘fracs, either Omni 120mm, or AA 102mm ED Starwave, although most likely I will have the smaller AA 80mm ED Starwave ‘frac attached too sometimes for a wider field of view.

Also, a 6mm Orthoscopic EP from Japan to test out on the planets.

So , not exactly “what did the postman bring “ because it would not fit through the letter box … in fact I collected this little beauty from @smashing , earlier today ..absolutely mint condition with just the primary mirror to clean ! Now , where’s my windolene … don’t worry , only joking ! :)

Excellent telescope. I have had mine for several years and made a few modifications. It really picks up the DSOs.

As recommended by @Jiggy 67 on the thread about protecting mounts etc

I bought a tin of this fine stuff for protecting the eq6 I inherited from my late friend. He kept it in a caravan which became damp, the aluminium started to oxidise, so I cleaned it up and gave the whole mount a good spray. Well worth it. Made to look after the USA navies aircraft and equipment I believe.

The postman came to my door with his arms full, literally, 3 separate parcels, each with some astronomy gear.

From FLO, Cheshire EP, Planisphere and The Cambridge Star Atlas
From @Jonny_H, BST Starguider 5mm EP
From @johnst, Celestron X-Cel 25mm and 12.5mm EP

Big thanks to both Jon and John for their speedy postage, excellent packaging and perfect condition gear 👍

Because I’m extremely bored at the mo’, couldn’t sleep… I’ve researched how much we have kept the nations budget going. Since first lock down last year the amount of pages on what stuff we’ve bought, went exponentially!
I think our nation owes us a around of applause too.

It’s amazing what addictions can do!🤣

Funnily enough this happens to me quite often!

It is rather strange how these accidental on purpose coincidences pan out! 😉
