A Celestron NexYZ smartphone adapter (belated Christmas present from our daughter).

Very impressed at how well it allows the phone to be accurately positioned.

Much better than the £2.99 one that needs 2 pairs of hands to centre

I was looking at one of those at the Practical Astronomy Show, I thought it was very well designed.

California businesses are now required to warm of potential health hazrads of goods sold. In this case I’d imagine it’s down to the paint used on the weight so don’t put the weight in your mouth and chew on it or something.. ?

The P65 warning stickers are printed using carbon black as a pigment...

I know how frustrating astronomy can be at times, so the warning is probably fair enough.

DHL delivered this from FLO yesterday. :hello2:

Was going to try it out during the day with the DSLR but being M48 rear it doesn't fit the standard T2 adaptor. In too much of a hurry ordering it to read the fine print. :DTried with M48-T2 adapter but couldn't get focus. Ordered WO M48-Canon adaptor from FLO but they're currently out of stock. ? Will try with ASI1600 and filter wheel during the day as nothing to see at night at the moment.

What process is that - not fused filament!

MJF - MultiJtet Fusion. Creates a nice surface finish and has low porosity. Good for small bits with reasonable accuracy and lack of shrinkage important (like the camera adapter). Surprisingly strong.
The goggles were created using SLS and a different plastic chosen

A very nice pair of Tele-Vue 15mm plossels, to go with my 20mm pair which I use with  a Tele-Vue bino and Astro-Tech 90mm triple APO, cheers Shane.

A small haul courtesy of FLO and delivered by a friendly chap from DPD called Dave.

Hubble torch so i can finally get around to fitting Bobs Knobs on my SCT. Not the greatest build quality but its functionality seems spot on.

IMG_0133.jpg.c822e577c1cd22119dda113163de9fd2.jpg

I decided to delve into the black art of OAG'ing with this little chap from ZWO and also a bubble level attachment to bring my 1st gen ZWO ADC up to spec.

IMG_0134.jpg.8684ddf86fa1bcfd3e551fb5f5630448.jpg

After much debating, especially a SharpCap owner, i took the plunge an d got myself a QHY Polemaster plus adapter for my AZEQ6.

IMG_0135.jpg.c7fa7649bdb1d2e4d96beab654b2f1ad.jpg

And finally, an ADM saddle replacement for the standard AZEQ6 saddle. Safe to say that this is a big upgrade in both surface area and quality. Pricey but worth it imho.

All in all some nice upgrades to my kit and all delivered in less than 24 hour from ordering. Keep up the good work FLO!

Bracket to re-use via piggy back my older 58mm f/3.5 (fl 200mm) telephoto for some wider field imaging.

(this has a bigger aperture than my first wobbly scope back in the '70s - ha ha )

After a long time dragging an extension lead out into the back yard I've decided enough is enough and got some portable power.

These seem to get good ratings so thought I'd try one out. Just need to motivate myself into action now!!
