Excellent book Jeremy.  My copy sits in my bedside bookshelf and lulls me to sleep many a night...

...and there was I, Steve, thinking it was drooling over your fabulous pair of long fracs that did that..:rolleyes2::)

Congratulations Steve. Yours was apparently the 10,000th reply on what we lovingly call “the postman thread”

I've had no post for 14 days according to Royal mail there is a backlog as there is no post persons (to be politically correct I don't want to offend anyone) or sorters in my area.

I was going to buy a 1.25mm diagonal with helical focuser but I have put it off until the post is back to normal I don't want anything going missing.

I'm with Jeremy on this one.  If I can't use them at night time I prefer not to think about them.....   Today, SHMBO turfed my scopes out of the conservatory , so they are all with me in my room, sulking !

I am allowed back after January 6th apparently.

You can bring them over here if you like, Steve.

I rather suspect that, with those two amazing, long and irreplaceable tubes apparently standing unsupported in that corner, you'll be thinking about them quite a lot!!😱🤔.

Following my disappointing observing boot purchase earlier this month, I went with a third pair of these fleece lined snow boots

Where did you get them from Jeremy I am after a pair of them for when I'm viewing outside in the cold.

Using those champagne bottles for comparison Jeremy I'm estimating that your Boot size is about a 26??:glasses12::confused2:

Ah, well, at least you can drown your sorrows in style..🙂👍

Do the bottles stay cold if you put them in the boots?

it’s the only item I’ve ever bought from this co. It’s now the third set. Each lasts about 4 years (last lot are ok, but the fleece has worn a bit in places. The ones I bought were £14 off, but I see they have limited availability on the offer. They have other styles.

What a lovely set, Mark, congratulations👏.

Very like the Baader Genuine orthos, when I had a set of these I used to find winged eyeguards really helpful in keeping out stray light.

Just superb on doubles, lunar and planets..enjoy!👍

Thanks Dave! Very similar to the Antares orthos too. Adding to the general green and blackness of my eyepiece collection.

Yes, very nice Mark! I’m hanging on to my set of BGOs, would be very difficult to replace and not worth a huge amount in the grand scheme of things. Enjoy them, they look in fab condition.

Definitely Stu - they don’t seem to come up often on the classifieds any more. And even new it’s difficult to find stocks of Fujiyamas at the moment

More items from FLO. Arrived 2 days early too which is nice especially when the wife is out shopping. ADM dovetail, yet more adapters. Should now get the correct back focus and a Beelink mini PC. So far quietly impressed. Software installed, up and running using RDP from a mac book in around 30 minutes.

A few goodies today!

TS-Optics mount bag for my skytee. I'll need to purchase some additional foam to make some custom inserts from but a big improvement on the polystyrene box it came in, especially now I've added two PrimaLuce saddles.

I've also given in to the demons of temptation and picked up the the TS-Optics version of the Starfield F7. Actually, this is the second attempt - first one was slightly damaged by the delivery service but TS sent a replacement immediately - along with more packing chips than I've ever seen!

Jaw-dropping setup! I might pick up a skytee II at some point as well. The bag looks like a perfect fit, thanks for sharing!
