Could even turn the FC-76DCU into a 954mm, f/12.5 super planetary/lunar scope… but I think realistically it will stay as an FS-60Q for now 🤔

turns the cute (but short focal length) FS-60CB, into a lovely FS-60Q (FL 600m, f/10, flat field quadruplet) 👍

Decisions decisions, must be awful 😂

Without wishing to derail the thread, does anyone know the part number or where to acquire one of the CSV tubes which are 105mm long?

Might be this: https://www.firstlightoptics.com/takahashi-other-accessories/tak_tsk06211.html

but I’d drop FLOs Professor Takahashi, Ian King, a message. He will know.

You'll have to browse through Dave Bryant's site  http://www.spacerocksuk.com/

⚠️WARNING!...Very addictive 😂

Looking forward to getting it under the microscope tomorrow. This is the start of the collection as a little bird has told me a skeleton pallasite may be on it’s way for Xmas.

The cables I use for my Redcat are bundled together nice and tidy which aren't long enough to connect everything when using my 120mm refractor once the draw tube is extended to focus.

I received some longer cables from FLO (all 1m) to connect accessories between my camera and ASI Air Pro:

1. Lynx Astro DC cable (orange in pictures)

2. Lindy Cromo USB 3.0 (grey in pictures)

3. Lindy Cromo USB 2.0 (grey in pictures)

The Lindy cables are quite stiff whereas the orange Lynx cable is quite soft and pliable, just like the Lynx power cable for my mount.

I just finished cable management tonight by using velcro and cable ties. I have two velcro ties attached tightly to the end of my ASI camera followed by a plastic cable tie at the base to prevent the velcro slipping off. Individual velcro ties are attached to each cable which are then stuck onto the camera velcro tie. Doing it this way puts a lot less strain on the USB ports compared to chucking them all into a large cable tidy (like the large black tube in the pic) due to the stiffness of some of the cables.

I know it doesn't look very pretty, but the cables are very secure and do not sag at all so I'm quite happy!

I think these are the 127mm tubes that come on the FS-60CB, which are shorter than those on the FS-60C… apparently used to help imaging.

There is some more information here… http://www.scopeviews.co.uk/TakFS60C.htm

A ZWO ASI462MC camera from FLO. Was a customer return so got it at a good discount and indeed just like new. 👍🏻

Will be used fpr colour planetary imaging. Already had a ZWO ASI290MM which will now be a dedicated lunar imaging camera as it will have better resolution than the 462. 🙂

462 and friend 🙂

I’ve been so impressed with the Masuyama 16mm that I bought earlier in the year, that when I saw this one come up on offer from @FLO, it seemed a no brainer 😀

A Masuyama 26mm as a wide field eyepiece (lighter weight alternate to my XW30 or Nagler 22) on my Mewlon and refractor 👍

I always regretted selling my 26mm Nagler so this looks an ideal replacement. Using my 12" Dob I will get an exit pupil of 5.26. Look forward to your opinion and review.

I picked up a 26mm Nagler a couple of years ago. It’s my main low power EP in my TSA120. Pity they stopped making them.

A nice little addition which appeared on here just in time to become a nice birthday present 👍

I’ve wanted to try one of these for a while given their reputation.

@Stu I'd be interested in your thoughts on it as I use mine a lot but don't have that much experience to compare with, to my eye its excellent. If anything the 18mm is even better.  The 6mm is quite tight on eye relief but on nights of good seeing comes into its own.

I’ll certainly post up what I find, when I get the chance! I have a full set of BGOs so the 9mm will make a reasonable comparison.

There might also be a 10mm XW on its way at some point too 😬😬

A nice pair of More Blue rings appeared today, they look very nice on the Tak. Thanks Joe 👍.

I’ve had to lose the handle, although that’s no major problem but apologies to all you handler collectors out there! 🤪
