Latest weather chart for our weekend. Light NW wind over the weekend with clear skies as a ridge of high pressure crosses the Peak District   :)

Nick

I used your old heritage 130mm dob (real scope) to show about 15 people from my work a fine view of Venus this lunchtime. It is a fine crescent at the moment.

I have just got some thumb screws for my polar scope (EQ5) and have quite a few left if anyone wants some may fit other polar scopes (M3).

Welcome to try and have them. Think there are 17 left so enough for five scopes.

Whilst Mark is going for the Sceintific approach, I had an idea. The flower covered tent has got to be replaced (mostly because my delicate sensibilities can't take the stick from you lot). So, I buy a extreme tent such as one might take to the Arctic, then the requisite extreme conditions will fail to materialise. A bit like the, new scope equals cloud rule, only working in our favour! Clever!
