A selection 0.965" goodies from an auction site. I actually just wanted the barlow as you don't often see 0.965" Barlows aside from the plastic ones, usually also with plastic lenses, but everything came as a bundle.

This one is metal construction with actual glass lenses, and I've seen the exact same one marked with Celestron above the barrel text. Very good condition with no marks, looks like it may never have been used. 

The EP looks also to be half decent, again very good condition with no makers stamp, just a 'JAPAN' sticker, as does the yellow filter. 

The diagonal was not actually listed in the bundle, and whilst it is nice to get free stuff, I unfortunately have no use for it (the 0.965" gear is for a newt.) I imagine I will make it free to a good home.

Indeed it can. It can also work in EQ mode from pole to equator, and on to the other pole

12mm SLV for WL Solar and outreach.

Having decided to keep my Evoguide 50ED and use it as a guidescope rather than sell it I was not happy with mounting it on the little finder stalk that came with the 50ED. I had a search around and the best solution for me was the WO 50mm guide rings setup. Arrived this morning and now the ED50 is firmly secured. The rings the ED50 came with are being mounted on my 130PDS.

Ordered yesterday from The Widescreen Centre just after lunch and received this morning before 10:30. pretty good turnaround i would say.

Bought specifically for 200x and ~1mm of exit pupil for Jupiter these coming weeks 🙂.

Another visit from the postman today. A 2X Vixen barlow and a 17mm plossl. I already have a Celestron Ultima (Japan) 2x, so I’ll decide which one to keep and sell the other. I bought the Plossl with the plan of a future binoviewer pair.🤔
