New camera: ASI485mc, bargain from FLOs clearance section.

Will be used for lunar/planetary imaging but also for having a go with DSO lucky imaging and maybe a spot of EEVA when we move to a new area with darker skies soon.

Just aquired a longer scope, 200 PDS and a comman correcter, so I can get sensible sized images of smaller targets.  I hadnt really appeciated how big it is untill I took it out of the box!

ha! that's what I thought when I first got a 200p.. then the 300p arrived!

from left to right - 150p, 200p, 300p.

would save a lot of space if they'd store inside each other like russian dolls! 😀

My new Starfield 102 frac arrived safely. I am really impressed by the quality of the telescope build. I hope it hasn’t brought too many clouds with it. Looking forward to first light.

Should you be showing the world your address? 🤔

You are probably correct, not that it really matters these days

Mine's outside now looking at the moon. So clear and sharp at x215.

Mounted the finders on the Starfield. A 9 x 50 RACI and a Baader 30mm RDF. Bring on the night.

Another quality product from Oklop, supplied by FLO.

Needed a bag to protect my G&G set up (SD81s on APZ) and this was described as a "Bag for a small scope" but should be called a " Bag for a small scope outfit".

It holds the scope, mount, tripod, finder, eyepieces, filters, stool, torch, sky atlas, well everything! Couldn't be more pleased with this 😀.

Not to us, but to our daughter, so we can pick up on our way home

A pair of these 20x80 Opticron binoculars

Opticron Oregon Observation 20x80 Binoculars

Mrs G has been using a similar pair out here in France,  alongside her existing 10x50s.

A good review of them here by our very own @BinocularSky Steve Tonkin

Being a sucker for good cable management, I had a 12V DC cable for my focuser and some dew heater bands for my OTA and guide scope made with cables made to a custom length, courtesy of Dewcontrol. The lengths were perfect, there's enough slack to ensure there isn't strain on the Pegasus power box ports but not not too much that they dangle and get in the way.

The cables are encased in a soft, pliable rubber which doesn't go stiff in the cold weather. I've been using one of Dewcontrol's power cables with my Mini-PC since February this year and there's been no snags or issues. Quality cables made to length 😊
