Enough, with the bad jokes yew should all know better than to larch about in such serious times. The message is getting lost as I can't see the wood for the trees.

Regards Andrew

I see you beat me to that one Andrew.

Think I’ll stick where I am otherwise people will think I’m a right birch.

Getting this thread back on track. 🙂

This arrived this morning. Wasn’t intending to replace the Bresser mak but when this came up on offer at Astroshop for £100.00 off couldn’t resist. Basicly a Bresser in black. 👍🏻 Now back up to the reg price.

Few bits to fit and yes that is a WDS handle Jeremy. 😁

Bernie...the bolt! or two as it is, they come in pairs you know. This is my counter weight bar, cheap as chips, £12.98 delivered, stainless steel M12 x 300mm, should do the job nicely. I thought I would cut the head off, but I’ll leave it on as the safety stop.

It werks! Bought a cheap photo thread adapter off a famous auction site and now I can securely hold 2” filters onto my 50mm bins...  just placed a repeat order for the other side.

The postman brought an eagerly awaited package today: CEM60 + Berlebach Planet from FLO. My spouse gasped "that thing is gorgeous!" when she saw it. :D It is indeed a beautiful piece of kit. Can't wait to get it under the stars!

An early delivery of Luna Cognita greeted me this morning. A serious looking three volume set that I can't wait to delve into. After all, there's nothing else to do!

Nice, very nice. 👍
A trend of astro book spending is developing here.

I really like the look of these, please let us all know your thoughts once you sit a look through.

So nice I just ordered the set, there goes some of the new mount fund again!

For releasing the bolts that hold the rollers on my observatory - as recommended by SGL users:

Who needs PlusGas at present.

I didn't get any warning sticker, so perhaps that's a good thing. 😉
