7 and 15mm Celestron Luminos to go with my 10mm. I had these before, sold them, regretted it. It's 82 degrees with decent ER = rare thing.

Nice eyepieces Chris - and they make great doorstops too, big things that they are! :headbang:

And I'm liking your Spiderman observing tray too...:D

My 40mm and 34mm Maxviews are great bookends.

Are Luminous different from Axiom LX?

According to legend Axioms were manufactured by JOC until they decided to sell under their own brand (Explore Scientific). Someone at Celestron didn't like that and the Luminos appeared as a replacement.

The post man kindly handed me a parcel this morning, which I found after opening it, contained pristine 18mm and 12.5mm Celestron Ultimas. :icon_biggrin:

Second item is a David Chandler item, replaces my Phillips one, far easier to read under red light to me.

All part of my ongoing Luddite existence.

Looks impressive Alan, Milky Way is good. I have a Phillips glow in the dark planisphere, which is quaint but works.

Every scope should own one. This specimen arrived safely thanks to the care and attention of @DRT

I've issued it a sleeping bag and it will be assigned to a scope in due course.

Thanks Derek!

These would have come by post but were purchased from a fellow member of BAS, and collected from him during Sunday's meeting of the BAA Deep Sky Section at  Bedford School, the home of my Astro Society. It was a terrific day of lectures, and good food, enjoyed in the company of well over 100 kindred spirits. :headbang:

Very nice! Ultima Barlows, which are short, are good for bino viewing. Not too hard to come by.

Have that & the Herschel also in same series. The data on doubles is what makes it so good.
