I had to pop out for a couple of hours around lunch-time, and inevitably a parcel was delivered while I was out. On my return I found this behind my front door.   I've no idea how this

I'm back after being away since last year. I had a tumour removed from my Pituitary Gland at the Neurosurgery Hospital in London, it was pushing on my Optic Nerve making my vision blurred. A

Are Luminous different from Axiom LX?

According to legend Axioms were manufactured by JOC until they decided to sell under their own brand (Explore Scientific). Someone at Celestron didn't like that and the Luminos appeared as a replacement.

Looks impressive Alan, Milky Way is good. I have a Phillips glow in the dark planisphere, which is quaint but works.

These would have come by post but were purchased from a fellow member of BAS, and collected from him during Sunday's meeting of the BAA Deep Sky Section at  Bedford School, the home of my Astro Society. It was a terrific day of lectures, and good food,enjoyed in the company of well over 100 kindred spirits. :headbang:

Very nice! Ultima Barlows, which are short, are good for bino viewing. Not too hard to come by.

Have that & the Herschel also in same series. The data on doubles is what makes it so good.
