I've not been in the hobby long enough to be bothered by the undercuts. They seem just fine to me. Is it just a personal preference?

It’s a personal preference, I.e. given the choice I’d prefer no undercuts as they occasionally snag - an irritation but nothing more.

Hmmm... Dunno quite what has happened with my EBAY Nuts & Bolts (sic!)? 😛

After a bit of detective work found my Amazon Prime stuff (last) at "Princes Royal DC"
(Royal Mail, I believe?). Amazon are "Working with the carrier to get my stuff back on
track"! Just a thought, if you get a CHOICE re. delivery methods re. any purchases? 🙃

I wonder what the differemce is between the 15 and 18mm? 🤔

One gives 80x mag and the other gives 67x mag.  Either looks good on the moon, etc.  Looks even better in your telescope!🤣

Wow, this arrived quickly from TS in Germany 👍

Berlebach Report 372 Astro with EQ5 (Vixen GP) head. It did arrive with a wooden accessory tray too, but that’s not shown in the photo.

This is so much lighter (4 kg) than the Uni 28 (9 kg), and is intended to pair with the ScopeTech Zero Mount and StellaMira 80mm f/10, as my lightweight and (hopefully) sturdy grab and go refractor setup.

The Uni 28 can revert back to supporting the SkyTee II and Mak 150.

I was just about to sell mine since selling all my astro gear. They are a fantastic mid-weight tripod. Berlebach quality through and through.

Stay safe,

Glen.

There always has to be one 😂😂😂

But on a serious note, is there really much difference in have the 15 and 18mm.... I wasn't going to get the 15 and I would have the 12mm, 18mm and 25mm?

Mr P. has brought me a toy from Altair...

I decided I wanted to consolidate all my small cabling, power and connectivity problems into one big one 😁 And it came with Haribo. Based on the veneer of stickiness my kids leave after Haribo, these may be quite effective at fixing the box to the telescope...

Seriously, it's well made - the outward appearance seems to have changed slightly compared to the first v2 units. Looking forward to fixing it up - alas I pulled down my wooden observatory a month ago and haven't yet finished setting up the dome, so it may be a few more weeks before I get to try the Power Box out. But it's going to significantly reduce the amount of "stuff" around the telescope and make full robotic use with power control a bit easier to achieve.

But of course.  Who doesn't like a bit of Atom Heart Mortar?  Or were you thinking of See Emily Bricklay?

Looks like it will work well with glasses on,
purchase based on many positive views of this APM item and my ownership of the 18 mm already.
All very utilitarian, including the plain white, but substantial box.

Of course it brought clouds, sorry.

You'll enjoy this 😀... I have the 35mm version, which works really well in my StellaMira 80mm f/10 👍

I am putting it up against my latest acquisition... Pentax 40mm XW... if I find the Pentax vastly superior, then the 35mm maybe heading towards the sale section...

Let me know if you do

Looks impressive, like a giant panoptic 27. I bet that’s nice in the hand.

Opens box to find my daughters new Nintendo Switch controller. Totally forgot about that...

An Astro Essentials 9x50 RACI finder for the ScopeTech 80 f/15. Replaced the 6x30 finder I had originaly fitted mainly so I could use the solar filter I had for a 9x50 finder.  So much easier to find and centre the sun using a proper finder. 👍🏻

Typical weather though. Sunny clear sky so I set up the scope and fiddled around with aligning the finder, took a brief look at the sunspot then in rolled the dark clouds. Amazing how fast those clouds move. 😢
