Very pleased with the content, not so pleased with Border Force 
The parcel started out in a very different manner from that true Gentlemen @iPeace.

Started out thus:

 And then wrapped in more Brown Paper, Super Job Mike.

But after Border Force Got at it!

 

No reflection on @iPeace in any way at all!
Mike is a super Gent and packs even more solidly than I do.

But blimey Border Force, second parcel opened between Mike and I this year,
this one barely rewrapped, I am amazed it arrived with any content!

A finder is pretty integral to my star hopping and quite frankly I was getting fed up with the mediocre optics found in pretty much all 50mm finders. My Takahashi 30mm however is superb. Fancing a bit more of that action I placed an order for this.

Yes it is expensive (cost more than my first scope bought 25 years ago) but a quick peak at the moon this evening tells me it is a fab piece of kit.

I'm happy that they still offer them.  AFAIK there is no other non powered mount that has the same payload capacity.  Do you still have yours?

Yep still have it. It is a great mount. No other Alt Az out there I can find which matches it’s capabilities.

Still just like new, though the engraved serial plate has faded a little, but otherwise still like day one.

And the postman dropped off a couple of dovetail saddles for the TS AZ5 which I will be selling shortly. Perfect fit on the AZ5 which has both ends threaded for a saddle unlike the Skytee..
