tooth_dr
I seem to spend my time looking at the kit, as the weather has been very poor. Still could be worse things to look at.

Seeing a bit wobbly here but still nice. Switched to widefield in the frac to pick up the Pleiades. Still looking lovely with Venus in the same FOV. Stub Mandrel
It's soo unfair. Venus has spent almost all of this apparition either behind or rapidly approaching the Evil Tree(TM).
garryblueboy
Out with the 14” Dob tonight Venus looks nice and clear through a 17.4 Delos some nice detail on then moon through 13mm Ethos and also found Comet Atlas up near the giraffe
CraigT82
Not quite night, but the sun had set and its definitely in action 🤷♂️. You'll be pleased to know I have cut the grass and painted the fence since this pic from last week!

Marvin Jenkins
All set out ready for a bit more darkness for polar alignment. Note the three leg plastic table not the wobbly four leg version. Also note the supermarket brand cola! None of your Redbull Monster stuff here, too much adrenaline in the first place. Second picture has Venus dead top. Great night I remember, stayed clear for six hours with greeting seeing. Marv
Paul M
Here is little and large doing their thing. Celestron 127 Mak and a 250PDS taking it in turns to ride the NEQ6Pro. Also visible is my bespoke high level IT station, thinking of patenting that. Might make me my £million...

Very impressive set up, I'd certainly like a look through a D&G 5" F15! That must be a great telescope. David
Saganite
Hi Dave, It is a beautiful scope and superb at star splitting which is what I am now doing since the Moon is well up. Very good diffraction patterns ! The objective in this telescope is a real beauty, quite superb on the Moon and planets as you would expect, and a view through this and a binoviewer, about three years back, took my breath away. Are you out tonight ?
miguel87
Wow, amazing some of the scopes that are out tonight. Here's my 200p getting some Bode's nebula snaps.

A question about the first picture, does the tennis ball serve any useful function ? Marv

Marv I tried working out where the ball belonged in my set-up but in the end it turned out to be a dog toy
