Well it was early evening 🙃 The girls won’t allow me to show you the night time set up

I wanted to catch the rare outburst of PQ And before dawn this AM. It's very low down, too low for my obsy, so I decamped with the Tak TSA 120 to a field a mile away. Caught PQ arounf 02.25 BST by which time dawn was breaking. You can see how low down it was from the angle of the scope.

I think I'm going have to put some black tape over the power LED on the AZEQ 6 🙂

I found another night shot from Ft G.  The summer Milky Way was looking good under the Bortle 2 skies there.

Still pretty light here but the scope is in action on the Moon anyway

The 5mm Pentax XW gives 318x with this scope and really, really sharp views this evening

The StellaMira 80 is setup in my now favourite lunar observing postion. In the  conservatory with one of the big windows open. Comfy observing chair as well. 😁😁😁

Looks so comfy, John, I’d have to be careful not to fall asleep.
Especially after 2 all-nighters

Not used the Mewlon 210 for a while, so thought I would have a look at the Moon with it for a while. Looking fabulous.

Fabulous set up Stu. How do views through the Mewlon compare with something like the C9.25?

This time of year I’m the same. 75% of all observing done from kitchen - solar, lunar, night vision. No air currents, sitting down, and in perfect darkness. Such a nice way to stargaze. Though your conservatory looks even more comfortable.
