New Member Checking In

Hello to everyone on SGL.

I'm Patrick. I live in Lancashire and I've been a visual deep-sky observer for approaching 40 years. I hope to post some of my (many) deep-sky observations on here in the future.

I use a 12" (305mm for the younger ones) SkyWatcher Newtonian on a GOTO Dobsonian mount. I spent 37 years star-hopping, so I think I've earned the right to use a Goto. It's certainly increased my productivity.

I met a few SGL members at the Peak Star Party 2014, which I've just got back from. I look forward to meeting many more of you in the future.
