  1. Very nice capture. I was imaging this last night with the TS65Q. I would be pleased if mine was only half as nice as this.
  2. WOW Very nice rescue. Lucky scopes and well done you.
  3. Congratulations on the new scope...a beauty Hope you have many years of enjoyment with it. I think a retirement scope is a great present to oneself....What a great idea. Where's my wife, Sweetheart, hunny ...You know when I retire!!
  4. That's very impressive Olly. That's just fantastic !!
  5. Erm, no lol Its the UK, the precious clear skies are not often enough...and I don't have that kind of patience lol. I have put the file into Dropbox if anyone wishes to play around with it though. My processing skills are not the best Enjoy M33 Core 16bit TIFF File M33 Core XISF File
  6. It was clear at before 11pm last night so I set about testing out the Auto Focus on my C11. I then slewed to M33 and thought of imaging through the night with both the TS65 and ZWO ASI183mm Pro and the C11 with Atik4120EX. Both on same mount, Mesu 200. Unfortunately, clouds rolled in...sleep took over and when I woke, I set Artemis imaging and went back to sleep...It was a school night after all 🛌💤 Anyway, the clouds did clear and I managed 10 x 600s with the Atik 4120EX OSC on the C11 and Mesu. A quick process in PixInsight. Thanks for looking.
  7. When I view...Not often these days, but still, it has been known. I see a murky brown background to a blue/red/orange and white starry sky. I think I confuse the green with blues sometimes Personally, I do get a little niggled when I see images with black backgrounds. Lets just say I have to think "Art" and not "Science" when that happens But it's all personal choice! I think we all see the sky differently depending on our eyes, our perception and the location( Bortle # ) itself.
  8. Have you moved the scope to do any work on it? My new TS65Q had a very similar issue that was caused by the lenses being too tight. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sj_IyhRspTM This video helped me. But if the scope is ok with the other camera then maybe its something else!! Dave.
  9. Very nice image Göran. I was trying to image this 2 nights ago but my focus drifted and the stars became too bloated. Only noticed when processing and compared to last years image. Deconvolution would break under the strain on my new image. Today I reinstalled my autofuser lol.
  10. Anyone had chance to try this focuser out yet and would mind giving a quick review ?
  11. ditto to all that is said above. I use AnyDesk since I had weeks of issues with "TeamViewer" classifying my remote connection, and stopping my connecting to my garden shed ror observatory 10 feet away, a "Professional" usage ! I've come to really like Anydesk. Free for personal use
  12. Very nice. I'm in the process of playing with my new purchased Minitrack LX3 and would be very happy to attain anything close to that kind of image.
  13. I like the depth in this image. You must have dark skies there
  14. Very nice read Stu. It was as though I was there with you. Thanks for sharing. Dave
  15. Looks like a very nice image to me. Well done.
  16. I did try the rotation grub screws once...And yes, the camera fell out. Fortunately my reactions are still quick and I caught it in time. I have not touched the screws since lol.
  17. very nice setup. I do envy the C11 Edge
  18. Waiting for Saturday night here. Clouds breaking but rubbish high clouds and no forecast for them to leave. Tomorrow night looks much better,....Beer in order for tonight 🍻 Cheers 😛
  19. Yes, C11 on a Mesu 200 mount in a ror shed. Here's my best sub 600s so far tonight. No calibration or flats etc. Stretched, ABE, Curves, SCNR and ACDNR ( Pixinsight terms ) Snipping tool Maybe Saturday night will be clearer. Thursday night I took 12 x 300s. Checking the 300s subs from that image they did not look as detailed as the above 600s sub...so I do have something to look forward to Last nights attempt using only 300s subs
