Looks very much like a More Blue FT focuser,  I’ve got one fitted to my mini Tak FS-60/C/Q and love it!

It is indeed… I also had it briefly on the FS-60CB and it worked very well… changed to MEF-3 now, as I didn’t need that on the FOA-60Q, but there’s no real difference 👍

As mentioned in another post, I’m keen to try two Pentax XWs paired in my binoviewer, as they are very relaxed and ergonomic eyepieces.

So, given the recent offer from @FLO, now seemed a good time… so, here’s another XW20 to pair with the one I already have 👍

A few new goodies for me:

FS60CB and a 76mm Objective upgrade plus some More Blue hardware for it which I think is a little lighter and more compact than the clamp, sorry for the sacrilegious behaviour 🤣.

Also got a longer dovetail for the FC100DC.

I just popped the 76 on a lightweight photo tripod to take a picture. Recon the 60 would be ok on there for quick sessions or travel.

I had a similar pair some years back and always missed them, so here they are, back again! 🤪

Very nice Stu. I really like the More Blue gear too, particularly for the lighter Taks.
Postman has just delivered this: a lovely little Tecnosky 60ED for hand held night vision, which I’ll mostly use straight through without a diagonal. TeleVue 67mm plossl will give magnification of 5x at equivalent of around F/2.8!!. But here also with T2 amici for photo tripod.

It’s good stuff isn’t it? Nice and light but well made.

Do you have to go ‘Aaarrrrgggghhhh’ when looking through that? 😉🏴‍☠️

A couple of dodgy looking packages arrived this morning. Smuggled by Dantooine, (Dale), who is obviously highly skilled at smuggling. And wrapped with surgical precision  I might add.

I wonder what could possibly be inside?

It's a 6.5mm & 4.5mm Morpheus, Morphei, Morpheus's or whatever. They are perfect, so a BIG THANK YOU to Dale for a rapid and painless operation at a great price. 😊

A Chroma LRGB 50mm unmounted filter set came today courtesy of FLO's Black Friday Special Offers - £160 off..... well I say that, I held off purchasing on that day, re-visited Wednesday just gone and the saving had gone up to £304 - so I decided to grab 'em while I could !

I had to look this one up and it’s actually.

                    Morpheuss

Surely that should be Morpheuses? On the same principle as "buses"?

"Morpheus" might sound like it's latin-derived and hence pluralised as "morphei". However, it's not, it's a made-up name based on a Greek root. As such, since it ends in "s", the plural ought to be made by adding "es" for "morpheuses".

Cf. Businesses, octopuses, buses etc.

If Latin it’d depend whether it was 2nd declension or 4th declension, in which case the plurals would be Morpheii or Morpheus respectively. If Greek, I have no idea 😃

Latin has the distinction of being my only exam failure (at O-level) so I stand corrected. I have found what Latin I managed to absorb to be useful at times but clearly it ain't up to snuff here!

Haha I’m only drawing on my O-level too so highly unreliable also 😁😁. I did get an A and to this day I have no idea how. I was rubbish at it, hated it, and found the exam very difficult. I think they must’ve got some papers mixed up!

I can empathise with your sentiments, they echo mine! However, English has many words derived from Latin so it has its uses to have studied it (even reluctantly).

Oh dear they did look suspicious. Hopefully there were no sniffer dogs present
