Aurora from Iceland

Misses M and I have just returned from 4 fantastic days in Iceland.  One night we went out on a guided tour to see the Aurora and we were not disappointed.   Here are a selection of some of the images I managed to capture  All pictures taken with Canon 1000D with Samyang 10mm lens.

Very nice set of images. There has been a very strong aurora over Scotland tonight, but unfortunately clouded out here near Glasgow.

Yes, that's Reykjavik 30-40 km away. Unfortunately, the place is lit up like a Christmas tree.

Thanks Pete. I'm really pleased with the performance of the lens. It has a field of view roughly equivalent to the renowned 14mm lens on a full frame camera.
