I am a pitch 46, and it looks like there is a big line of trees on the left. Is this going to ruin my view in that direction, or is it small enough to see over? Also why are there 2 46s - a red one and one between 42 and 51?

Well, I have just booked my first ever star party.  As I don't know the site at all I have left it to the wonderful administrators to choose my pitch.  Grovel, grovel.  The Dob fits nicely on the spare bed in the tin snail.

This is my first star party too.  Am getting excited at the idea already.

Maybe we could see the apollo landing sites with it. (joke: for those that think I'm serious, you can't see that much detail with anything earth based)

You can see the areas  though, which is interesting.

If there are any tent pitches left I think  I will book a few days.  I have booked up for Kielder tomorrow but have come down with illness and can't go. It might be an idea to use the petrol money I would have spent to book SGLXI if there are spaces still available. I could put some faces to the user names too!

Don't worry, they just quarantine the mob in one place to keep everyone safe. Loads of other scopes there. Don't tell them but I'll be bringing a few fracs too :)

I just had an mental image appear in my mind, much like an amarda.   Of one of those dobs being escorted by a squadron of fracs.   Think I've lost it completely now.

For some bizarre reason, the sheet does not seem to update in Tapatalk and I'm not sure it did for me on the mobile version either. I had to go into the full site to see the updated copy, don't know why but that might explain why some people are not seeing the updates.

EDIT Clearing the cache on Tapatalk fixed that problem
