Hi ,i have one.A heated dew band is a must for this scope.

You will need a dew shield as well im afraid.I bought a mains

adaptor for the dew band because the power tank battery

did not last long.What a good bit of kit this is for lunar &

planetry imaging.Well pleased.

Black foam camping mat, I had an astrozap on my cpc800 and it was waste of money, get either a camping mat or go to a furnature fabric shop and buy some black 5mm foam.. £3!

Here's mine, bought at about the same time as yours, Earl.

Even with a home-made dewshield which is nearly as long as the OTA, it stills dews up on humid nights (my old 8" SCT never once fogged up). Looks like a dewstrap might be next on the purchase list.

Dew shield and heaters are mandatory!

I'd also strongly recommend a "safety clamp" on the dovetail..

(The NEQ6 mounts all seem to have the ADM saddles...mine has the Geoptik equivalent)
