  1. I've always wondered if something like this could be used. https://www.arceurotrade.co.uk/Catalogue/Workholding/Rotary-Tables/4-Rotary-Table-with-Stepper-Motor They also do a larger 6" version.

Not wrong at all, I never realised until I did some research that NB integration is best done non-linear. Improved the stars a bit and slightly stronger Oiii, it's a winner.
  3. Super image, well worth the bugs and dew problems.
  4. Half round hand file and a lot of elbow grease.
  5. At a guess it might be image tilt or collimation.
  6. Sounds like you need some software "limit switches" for max/min position. I know you can do it with the Lakeside control box but no idea if Ekos can do something similar.
  7. Stunning, lovely surface detail and good proms.
  8. Hi Vin, I use Ekos with a Lakeside focuser. If it can't find focus after a number of tries it goes back to its initial position and stops everything. It should be the same with other focusers.
  9. Well done, especially in Bortel 8 skies with a stock Canon.
  10. Great result, well done.
  11. Very promising, hope you get more soon.
  12. That's a pain, my trial ran out the other day. Looks like an extra €46 then.
  13. Excellent, lovely detail in the nebula.
  14. Stunning, probably the first prom images I can see some real depth to. Makes me realise how massive these are.
  15. I'm also on Mac with KStars/Ekos. My AZEQ6 has a USB port and I connect with that via a standard cable, in Ekos I set the baud rate to 115200 and it connects fine. No need for any mucking about with EQMOD or INDILIB etc.
  16. If you can find the specifications for your coma corrector it should might have the back focal distance listed. I think they are normally 55mm. The Atik 414EX has 13mm back focus so deduct that from the 55mm gives you 42mm for spacers and filter wheel.
  17. Rocol Sapphire 2 is supposed to be good against corrosion and looks to be for outdoor use.
  18. Lovely image, I think you've got the colour and saturation just right.
  19. Very nice, reminds me to re-do my effort.
  20. That looks great to me, core and colour are good.
