  1. But it is a giggle when you can take 1/4" depth of cut in hard steel 😊
  2. A good start, I like the detail on the first image.
  3. Excellent set of images, looks like there's one hell of a big disturbance on the surface.

Looks good to me, you've done well.
  5. Lovely image and a great write up.
  6. Lovely final image. (For now 😉)
  7. Nasty looking. Working on another variation.
  8. Yup, looked like a zombie threw up his brain. Cheers Geof, they're probably the better renditions. You can just keep going with colour combo's and variations, might try something a little more subtle next.
  9. Had a go at the Crescent in the last clear patch we had in May and ended up playing about a bit too much with the NB colour channels so thought I'd post a few variations. The first is SHO to RGB. Second is OSH to RGB. Third is HSO to RGB. Fourth is HS 50:50 to Red and O to Blue. Fifth is H to Red, HO 80:20 to Green and ) to Blue. The colours seem to have come out extremely strong and I've had to cut back the saturation a little. As you know, there is no correct colour for narrowband just conventions and artistic (or not) license. 10. Great example of the Croc, lovely image.
  11. That's a lovely Bubble, well done.
  12. Try KStars/ Ekos on your Mac. Works well once you get to know it.
  13. Both great images but I think I prefer the first with more stars showing.
  14. Well done John, stars look nicely subdued and the colours are great.
  15. +1 for a light panel. Proper astro EPL like Artesky make it a breeze.
