Im a fairly new to this amazing hobby! 

Taking in as much information as possible. But this is not a very widespread hobby. So all those forums are invaluble. Other tips on hangouts are more then Welcome! I exist on CN under the same name. 

I was thinking about NEAF. Is there a similar event in Europe?

Oh, northern europe certainly presents challenges for the aspiring astronomer. 😂

Yeah, brittle power cables that mess up guiding if you're into AP. Or light pollution aka Aurora.

Thank you! Add to living in a very light polluted area. South, I can see a "nice" lightpollution aurora from the city. About 45 degrees up from the horizon.

Had a few clear nights vid good seeing last week. But, was of coarse working..

Had a former colleague in the 90´s. Who was a member of a band with that name.

Lets see if I will be able to shoot some pictures in the near future. Need to adjust the set up, a bit more.
