Hello all.  I see a lot of new members on this forum. I also see a lot of members from the other side of the ocean. Well at least the other side from my view. I am new to astronomy. I just got a setup for astro imaging. I'm in the process of learning Maxum DL. Hopefully I will understand it before I am too old to read anymore. I am looking forward to learning from everyone.

Wow. Thanks so much for all the warm welcomes. To reply to Dana, I am not much of a baseball fan but I do get to see the Phillies on tv once in  a while. Also got a reply about Charlottsville. I know there is a very dark spot between Richmond and Charlottsville. I am hoping to go there some time to see just how dark it is.
