Hello,

     I'm a 'Old'... new guy. Since my youth I've always enjoyed viewing the heavens. I've been retired for a few years now. I do volunteer work during the month and I am quite happy with that. I surrendered my Motorcycle to my Son last year and now I enjoy my new hobby Star Gazing. I live in a light polluted area but my black umbrellas do the job. Soon I'll try the photo end of it. My arsenal consists of an Orion 8"Dob, Skywatcher 12" Dob & a Celestron VX6" Refractor.

Hi & welcome to SGL.  You have swopped a motorcycle for 3 scopes - I used to ride a motorcycle until 2009 when I decided that my concentration wasn't good enough.  Look back at it with pleasure though & I'm enjoying astronomy too.
