Been having quite dramatic winds here in Shropshire this afternoon. Don't want this at all.

Wow this weather is bad...Just finished work and everything was going down. Had a leak in the roof. And just got my new eyepiece delivered today 2.3 Celestron but don't think i will be using it for a few days how is it around your area???

Just had a sheet of glass from the greenhouse fly acorss the lawn like a frisby shattering against the fence. Got slates off the roof. Some idiots wheelie bin rammed into my new car because the [removed word] left it out. Not good.

Got smashed slates all over the paths but using a torch I can;t see exactly where they came from, they are definitely mine though - next door's are different. Hope I can get a visit from a roofer before Friday's storm but I suspect they will be in high demand!

Peaked at 82mph here , on the way home from work 3 of the 4 routes home blocked by fallen trees, also nearly all street lights and traffic lights out, made for an interesting journey. Amazingly the new roll off obsy has survived so far

Looking at the weather station here at work our strongest gust was 82mph at about 18:30.

The 10 minute average is currently 35.

god not more it peaked at 100mph here yesterday with trees down cars damaged wicked witch flying past crazy!! I'm currently building an arc which my 250pds as a sail. Well it's no good for anything else!

god luckily no body was in its path could had been fatal. And wheelie bin I've got that same problem an idiot neighbours left it out so it's flying around the place. Luckily it got wedged in they're car 1st!!
