  1. The first image is a good image, especially if the seeing is poor. Its a nice example and you will see many similar to it. 50 frames is not many to stack though, also 1000 is not many to capture on a single run. How long was the capture video in seconds? Yes the second image has been pushed a bit too far.
  2. Excellent set of images, good to see the wider field of view as well.
  3. Excellent set of images Angie, love seeing the transit of the Moons.
  4. Superb image Geof, we are going to have to make the most of any hints of the Polar Hex. I guess it will invisible as the tilt changes in the coming years.
  5. A superbly captured and processed image. I think its definitely detail on Ganymede, it matches what WinJupos is showing, so for me definitely not artefact .
  6. Nice looking capture Steve, plenty of detail visible there.
  7. Very nice images, particulalry the Saturn image.
  8. Very nicely captured, some very nice detail on show particularly in the Polar regions
  9. Veery nicely captured, no chance from here for ages the cloud seems to have been constant for most of the summer months.
  10. Looks very nice, despite the conditions still some nice detail visible there.
  11. really nice capture, good to see the Moon and shadow visible.
  12. Great to see my remindeer pop up on my emails, good to see you back Steve. Thanks for all your efforts in producing these invaluable newsletters 🙂
  13. Very nicely captured Michael, tough targets down at a low altitude. Jupiter is a little better this year in he UK for us, Saturn still very low though.
  14. Some seriously good detail visible at the full size, some many of my favourite areas there to explore. The Moon really is a great object to observe and image, we should all probably do this more. I know i certainly should 🙂
  15. A nice looking image Mick, with some very nice detail. One of my goto objects in the Summer, even easily visble from my light polluted back garden. A quick stretch of data does show quite a bit more detail hiding in the background and nebula, including some of the fainter outer dust . I am no expert by any means, but is the background a bit "black" maybe?
  16. Nice looking image, plenty of stars, was through the telescope or with the camera phone pointing at the sky?
  17. Hi welcome to SGL from Pete in Bedfordhsire 🙂

  22. Very nice set of images Neil, plent of nice details visible there. As for the screen calibration, its something that has bothered me for ages. I do occasionally go through inbuilt Windows screen calibration, not sure hoe effective it though.
  23. Superb set of close ups Neil, particularly on Plato and Vallis Alpes.
  24. Looks a big area as well, no way through this greay stuff though at the moment.
