Good advice from @CraigT82 Autostakkert is an excellent piece of SW, Registax 6 is also very useful for processing after stacking

Nice start, some decent details visible there. Sometimes the seeing is not going to let you get a great image.

A great advert for the Lens as well, i have been trying to get a F2/2.8 lens for a month or two. Been mostly looking at the Tokina's, but this Samyang looks excellent as well.

I was lucky enough to watch the Perseid's under the dark skies of Weybourne in Norfolk this year. I had just set the camera up and focused it, the view was limited by a huge row of trees. I was just about set the timer and a beauty streaked through where the camera was pointing. I quickly pressed the trigger on the timer as the ionised smoke trail was dissipating. Delighted to see the colour in the trail, bit noisy i guess though. Surprisingly i thought the view was darker in the garden than down at the beach in my opinion. I guess the tress hid the glow from Sheringham just down the coast line.

Superb capture Adam, very nicely composed image. Even the Meteor trajectory helped zipping down the side of the milky way!

Off work for a month or so, perfect time for the Gas Giants as well. Might get the C9.25 on the obsy mount, in a couple of weeks. from that position it will be ok for Jupiter if not Saturn. Just need to slide the roof open/close then. What could go wrong 🙂
