  1. Very nice start, as Stu said there is more to see.
  2. WOW, I don't what's more impressive, the Granulation or the stunning detail in the Penumbra!!!! superbly captured.
  3. A fine looking disc, AR2741 looking superb.
  4. Very nicely captured some lovely detail in the penumbra.
  5. Some nice detail visible there, how many frames did you capture?
  6. Fabulous disc, AR2741 looked superb yesterday afternoon!
  7. Very nicely captured and presented!
  8. Even just driving out of town makes a big difference though. The A1 being illuminated is one of the bigger problems in the town I live in. That and the ridiculous schools and businesses that light thier property up to daylight levels. It's too bad a short drive away, on the edge of Cambridgeshire.
  9. Beautiful set of images, the light pollution around Bedfordshire is pretty grim.
  10. Pretty decent image considering the conditions. Most of the country has been a wash out!
  11. It will be nice to get reacquainted with Jupiter again. Not been very easy for UK planetary imagers in recent years unfortunately.
  12. Beautiful image Neil, it certainly does show a much more colourful Lunar landscape than the grey one generally presented through images. Particularly the blue colour in Mare Tranquillitatus which is clearly visible even at normal resolution.
  13. I cant comment on the Skywatcher Black Diamond 120/900 ED as I have never owned one. But I had a Skywatcher Black Diamond 180/2700 Maksutov Cassegrain, an excellent scope for planets with its long focal length and large aperture. I swapped to a C9.25, because I felt it was a more versatile scope.
