  1. Nice heads up, Schröter's Valley is a superb area, looked pretty good through 20x80's . I would like to have imaged as well, but "cream crackered" to be honest!

  16. Fabulous standard as always, congratulations to the winners and everyone that entered.
  17. Easy to mistake before you seen it for the first time, I went a couple of years before I knowingly saw any. Once I had seen those incredible ghostly ripples in the early hours, I don't think I will ever mistake them again.
  18. I wouldn't want to look at it for too long 😀 but it shows just how dynamic our nearest star is. I think last time I did one, I used an online GIF maker.
  19. My glass always half full when it comes to all things astronomy Chris. I think there is probably a better image in the data than maybe you are ending up with. Are stacking 40% of the frames on all your videos? P.S your 7" Refractor is a very impressive looking scope!
  20. Some nice detail in the penumbra on the first image and light bridge showing very well. The wider view looks good as well, with what looks like a couple of filaments visible, as well as some decent "surface" detail. And a nice prom, you should see some of my early images 😉
  21. Very nicely captured, despite the clouds.
  22. Nice to catch AR2741, before the working week resumes. Lovely blue skies 1st thing this morning, the seeing was a bit up and down. Evostar 120mm, DMK21au618, Continuum filter, X3 Barlow. Best 15% of 5000 frames. A lovely light bridge visible across the Umbra, splitting the spot in two and some nice detail in the Penumbra.
