2 hours on the Double Cluster

I normally image the Nebula's but decided last night to bag in the Double Cluster.

Taken with 2.5 hours in 5 min subs ISO 800 with the EOS 1000D Baader modded on the ED120.

Guided with ED80 / QHY5 / PHD

Not much CS3 work done here, so mainly a level adjustment from the raw DSS stack

Nope, literally took the tiff, changed the levels to darken a bit and that was it other than the lettering / border and sizing.

Wow. Soon we will not need to go outside we can just look at your images. Can you take the whole sky at that resolution and then make a mosaic and then put it on a DVD?

Congratulations to everyone mentioned and to everyone that posted such great images this week and this month! The only clear half night we have here for a month, was foggy one with -15C in the town and I expect -19C on our "dark" site in the near mountain, so your images warmed my heart

I am surprised at the interest in the clusters. Seriously, perhaps I should take more time to study and image them. They look beautiful and totally different to imaging nebulas and the like.

Might add a few more clusters to my list
