I've only got the 2 refractors at present, and my other half has no idea (thankfully) of their cost.

Not so long ago i had 6 telescopes in the house which inevitably raised some suspicions.

But the perfect answer to 'what are all these telescopes doing' ?        ......is they are society scopes !!

My astro club has a 'scope loan scheme' and i'd simply been delegated to look after them.......😉

However ask yourself these questions...

Does your other half really not know how much you are spending, I would think it more likely than not that most broadly do.

Do you know much your other half spends on their past times... I think if you score highly on this test you may be too preoccupied with astronomy  to notice!

Having managed to get past the notion of having too many telescopes, I'm proud to say that I scored a grand total of two.  I therefore declare owning mumble-teen telescopes to be perfectly healthy and normal.  In fact, I'm surprised that everyone doesn't do it.
