Hi from Huddersfield newbie

Have been toying with stargazing for a little while but both wife and I got the bug after a recent week in Kielder forest in our motorhome. Then after mutual desire we bit the bullet and decided the sports would wait till we recovered from our injuries. So we decided the decking would look nice with a 12" Dob. Some fast learning now with a bit of help from you guys and girls !

How clear are the skies near you? Have you got the Dob already and what are you looking forward to seeing the most? I think the hobby is significantly more fun the more it is shared with others and I have received plenty of help from members here so don't hesitate to ask any questions.
