Relatively short session as clear skies soon gave way to clouds and hence a limited crop of data / images. AR12712 is dying but still showing enough activity to make white light views interesting if the seeing is up to some decent magnification. My ES11mm @91x showed some nice detail this morning visually in moments of very steady seeing. Photographically I missed out on Ca-K close-ups and proms as clouds arrived but managed a WL close up of the AR and a 6 pane FD in Ca-K.

Looking at this now Dave, in between clouds! It has calmed down a lot since yesterday, seeing isn’t as good but still far fewer spots and pores visible. Faculae looks lovely though.

Nice shots, it shows it very well. CaK lovely too. Shame it’s not possible to do CaK visually very well.

Had a brief visual at 6.15pm today. A small but bright region on the oncoming limb was very active in Ha producing fairly fast moving projections so the possibility of another interesting area soon.
