:sunny: Hi we are Kate & Mike collectivly Bigwings as we both fly Gliders.

Mike used to skywatch with his telescope when a kid and Kate is fascinated by the sky at night so we have just bought a 6" catadioptric telescope to get us started.

Love the site and nice to have found it.

great stuff another couple on here. my fiancee has a passing interest in astronomy but won't join SGL as she says it'll be over her head.

glad to see that you share an interest, very helpful when that new flextube dob comes out lol

Hi. both, and welcome to the SGL Forums. You won't be getting much time in the air lately. The weather is as bad for gliding as it is for astronomy.
