Sunset
Hi everybody at SGL. I just joined. Got the bug, bought the scope and...waiting for the stars. If the stars don't come I'll get a cold from standing in the English rain ;) Cheers Javier
Yamez
Welcome to SGl, good luck with your new scope! and yep, English weather always terrible. What scope did you get? Happy stargazing, Yamez.

Sunset
I bought the SW 200PDS with the HEQ5 Pro Goto. It is a bit of a monster but I am very pleased with it. I have an old D300 and will try some astrophotography in due course. It is still early days and have so much to learn and get used to. So I am taking it easy. One thing at a time. Linda
Welcome to the lounge and good luck with your new scope. Weather sucks often, that is a frustrating aspect of astronomy. But when it clears up, it is a great hobby. You can use the clouded times to learn how to use your equipment en study astronomy.
