Hi all have been into astronomy on and off for many years and used to own a TAL-1,  I loved the industrial robustness of the scope typical of Russian engineering (I'm a bit of a TAL fan!)

My enthusiasm has recently been rekindled thanks to my neighbour who recently bought a Celestron VX 8,  a very nice scope.  Lets hope for some clear skies as the weather down here hasn't been the best in the last few months!
