Hi John from Lenzie, near Glasgow  introducing myself. I am relatively new to observational astronomy and looking to purchase an astronomical telescope soon. I do have a good spotting scope and binoculars ( Leica ) so have something to be going on with, but no doubt will be looking for lots of advice in the future
