  1. Alternatively get a FTDI chipset serial adapter - these should work with later versions of Windows Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  2. That's looking good nicely done Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  3. Reprocess looks good Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  4. Great atmospheric shot - ribblehead is a fantastic area and you have have caught it well
  5. The best way to remove the colour cast is to do some DBE then background neutralisation and then colour calibration after doing that the colour cast should be removed Also if you unlink the channels on the stf tool then it will show you what the image looks like without the colour cast - note it doesn't change the image and you will still have to colour balance the image Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  6. Yes it was one of the newer prolific (hitec) ones Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  7. Are you sure windows isn't auto updating the driver - I had this problem and loading the old drivers with auto update stopped worked for me. Failing that an eqdir cable with a ftdi chipset should work Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  8. As matt jenko said it could be that you are not quite orthogonal to the ra/Dec axis - I have noticed this in all my mosaics Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  9. This is normal I think of it as the curvature of space Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  10. Yes with a osc I think the 3nm will be too restrictive - I have used the qhy 10 with a 7nm and it was ok but never tried it with 3nm ( cost of 2 inch filters). Worth a go with 7nm though - imo Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  11. Very nice capture -you've got the qhy 10 working well I would use a larger bandwidth ha filter than 3nm as I don't think you will get much with the qhy 10 and 3nm Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  12. That is looking good - interesting project
  13. That's come out very well look forward to seeing more images Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  14. Nice Boks Sara Sent from my SM-G900F using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
  15. I wanted to go to that as I was in Toronto for a wedding but the dates didn't work out. Certainly looking at that image it was worth it Sent from my GT-I9300 using Xparent Skyblue Tapatalk 2
