Hi all.

Nice to meet everyone.

It's my first time on any Astronomy Forum.

I've been fascinated with astronomy from as far back as I can remember, got my first scope at 14 years of age.

Had many different scopes over the years but now find most enjoyment from using big binoculars.

Currently I have a pair of 90mm semi apos, looking into building a set of 8 inch binoculars.

Had a great time at Astro fest, strongly recommend it!

Looking forward to a year of lots of star parties and sharing the experience.

Glad to be a part of the group.

Welcome to SGL Steven - hope you post a build thread on those 8" bins, quite an engineering challenge and look forward to see how it develops.

Up to now it's been difficult trying to find reasonably priced Objectives, But found a company at astrofest that can supply for 3k.

Will keep you posted.
