I might have to invest in my third one of these. My existing eyepiece case has become a little crowded. So far I have one for my DSLR and related bits and another for astro cameras, filters, filter wheel and other imaging kit.

Maplin's are a pretty good outlet for astronomy kit, wouldn't you say ?

Well, I wouldn't buy a telescope from them But for electronics and other bits and pieces they seem to do ok.

I think that companies like ES,TV,Meade...etc are behind the sale. We all say "wow I could do with another"....then "hmmm, that needs filling" beware!

I have this case and the 3-in-1 case set, while the 3-in-1 cases are useful I think this case is much nicer.

That's why you have to watch out for these deals, they make them almost worth the money

these are great cases. I have had mine for years. you need to treat them rather more gently than more robust models though as their quality is not top notch but for the price................

well,i got one today but it now houses Telrad, finderscope, filters, adapters..etc.

Don't want to sound stupid but how do you cut the foam to the size of the eyepiece do you just use a Stanley knife.

I am after something foam lined and not stupidly big where I can store my Atik 460 CCD camera permanently connected to the EFW2 filter wheel to save me keep screwing the two together at night in the dark. Keeps the filters dust free.

Anyone any ideas please?

Some cases come with the foam pre cut into little cubes that are still held together and you just pull out the ones you need to make a hole. Others it is just a case of doing the best you can with a craft knife.

I have one, a little disappointed in the quality.
