I held the lens of my iPhone up to the eyepiece, in this case a 10mm with a 2x Barlow. I am looking through a SW 200p f/5 Newt, so essentially 200x magnification. It takes some practise.

    The London Moon by iPhone

I couldn't wait for a T-ring for my DSLR to start taking pictures. I set up my scope near my home, on the south bank of the Thames, within sight of the Houses of Parliament. I used my iPhone to take these, by holding the lens up to the eyepiece. The photos were taken Saturday 27 July at 2:00 with 25mm/10mm eyepieces, some using a variable moon filter, and some using a 2x Barlow. I have a SW 200p f/5 Newtonian reflector. The images (all but one, which I missed) have been mirror-corrected and their contrast slightly altered using PhotoShop CS5.1, but otherwise are untouched photos.
