NGC 4565 - The Needle Galaxy

Another from Les Granges. Imaged over the same 2 nights as my M106 image. A lovely target, I was inspired to go for it having observed it through Olly's 20" dob

Scope: Meade 10" ACF and AP reducer at F8

Camera QSI 532 with integrated off axis guider

Exposures: Lum 11x15mins, R+G 11x140 secs binned x2, B 11x210 secs binned x2

Captured and combined with maxim. Processed in PS

Thanks a lot everyone. Of all the images this was probably one that least needed the dark sky, it's pretty bright. Getting towards the end of my Les Granges data now but still have lots of stuff captured by Olly!

Breathtaking, I love galaxies like these, according to Wiki it's quite visible in small scopes & the fov looks good with the Atik.
