Phew!  Now I know what people who go cold turkey go through! 

It was like losing a major limb not being able to use SGL. 

How did we all cope?

The weird thing was that i could view the site and saw that there was activity like nothing is wrong, but once i logged in, the site showed the White screen of death.

It must have been a small group that couldnt visit SGL

Yes, I won't admit to how many times I tried to get on the site.  Quite traumatic 😱.

Made me realise how much I look at SGL. I could picture poor Grant sweating buckets trying to get the site sorted and back up. 🥵

Come on guys it was off line for what, a couple of days ?  Was that realy so traumatic ?  (he says trying to convince himself he's being level headed). 

Well, if I am being honest I did press the refresh button about 10 times .............................................................................................an hour 😞 

Well  thankfully all up and working again and I can cancel the Rehab, thanks to all involved in the changeover, I am sure there were a few panicking there too 🙂

🤣I proved to myself - in my recent deliberate absence - I'm still "OK"?!? 🙃

Aside: Could (talented) SGL Users have Helped to reduce the downtime? 😁

I found a perfect alternative!

I went out in the 110°f heat and stood there staring up at the sun!

All joking aside, THANK YOU to the wonderful people that keep this site operating. 

That includes the monitors, who I know are really from the dark side of the force!😄

The downtime did make me realize just how much time i spend here reading threads and i wont kid ya, i tried to sign in often over the last few days.  But since this and CN are my only "social media" that i have, i dont figure that is too bad
