Bleak for Jupiter/Saturn in UK for a while yet

Just been playing about with Stellarium.  Saturn not due to get into a high altitude into the sky in the UK until the end of the 2020's and Jupiter we have to wait another four or five years

So, that just leaves us with the ‘emigrate south’ option......Very very tempting right now.

I might be past it, by the time saturn is favourably sited, particularly as I have no view to the south.  Bit depressing.  ?

Think I may need to get myself another scope then... a 90mm f/10 refractor isn't exactly prime for DSOs!

That’s why I like DSOs, always one or two in a favourable position.

The lowlanders will be seeking higher ground and those with tall trees also, dispersion correctors will be rolling off the presses like hotcakes and my neighbor to the south will be thinking I must be infatuated with his wife...All this and more I suspect but stand ready with corrector in hand and planetary observational expectations high, or is it low...none the less I am ready...I think ?

I have been considering getting an ADC. I guess that with 5-10 years before the giants get into a decent position it might be worth it after all ...
