Stargazing Live 2019?

I know that Dara Ó Briain had tweeted that they were hoping for a special to celebrate a special anniversary, but could not find the tweet on a search https://twitter.com/search?f=tweets&vertical=default&q="stargazing" from%3Adaraobriain&src=typd

Anyone heard anything?

Thank you, I saw that, but the Sun isn't the most reliable of sources (I hope still)!

The producer of series 1 to 5 of Stargazing Live has said that he’s not heard of another UK series. His tweet at:

Sad, given the performance of low light cams for giving you a sense of what a really good sky looks like. BBC4 “day in the life of the earth” had a great bit about meteor observing, wouldn’t mind knowing what camera they used for those meteor observing sections.

its a challenge to keep the interest/engagement up with time, even the spring/autumn watch are needing to Innovate. We need something on an ongoing basis to keep enthusing the next generation going forwards.

Just seen Prof. Brian Cox’s schedule for his live shows touring the UK, I’d say it’s definitely no SGL this year.

Chris lintott just said at the end of sky at night that they are not on next month to make way for srargazing live. Im very confused now

Keep an eye on the listings! So we need to take bets on where they might be... USA (as autumnwatch was??) Not giving us a good prior warning means that local clubs cannot look to on events to help spread the word and engage more people.

Didn't  think sky@night was on until 22.40

Jan9 twitter post.. “SCHEDULE CHANGE - On Sunday, Jan 13th our latest episode will be broadcast at the later time of 10:40pm. We'll return to our normal slot in February.”

Juat found out that they did a 3day stargazing live event in Australia last year, which none of us saw. Annoyed!

Did you watch it on BBC iplayer? And was it about the star of bethlehem? They say they're not about next month for stargazing live at the end of that episode, which was aired in 2015.

If I were being really cynical, I'd say they're not doing it in the UK until about 2025 when Jupiter is back as they need something spectacular to show the general public? ?

I seem to to remember the last S@N saying they would be taking a break this month, so perhaps for stargazing live.
